All wines on this ever-changing list were carefully chosen based on their quality, vintage, and taste. It’s our job to weed out the bad wines which means you won’t have to. I hope that you enjoy the eclectic, international selections. Everything was chosen for a reason, with the cuisine kept in mind. As you navigate the list, you may find some old friends, as well as some new favorites. Be brave and explore!

Welcome to our world of wine!
Thank you, Peter.

Splits (.187L) & Half Bottles (.375L)
Bin # 800  N/V  Mumm Napa  $11
(Napa – CA) (.187 L)
- Vigorous bubbles. Don’t believe me? Ask Michael Jackson’s chimp. Continuing the long tradition of handcrafted wine, each cluster of grapes is carefully selected and transported in small baskets. The harvest is then gently pressed using only the first, most pure, pressing to go into the sparkling wines. To ensure character in the style of méthode champenoise, every bottle is fermented separately.
Bin # 801  N/V  Moet & Chandon Whitestar  $24
(Champagne – France) (.187 L)
- Diddy’s fav, and mine too. The P. The E. The T. The E. The Y. It’s Petey. Hold Up. Lively and generous, Whitestar distinguishes itself by a bright fruitiness, a seductive palate, and an elegant maturity.
Bin # 802  2004  Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc  $33
(Napa - CA) (.375 L)
- Inviting toasty lemon-lime and tropical aromas combine with hints of vanilla spice. On the palate, it has zesty citrus and baked pineapple flavors that lead to a long, seamless finish. It is crisp, refreshing, showcasing sparkling Chardonnay at it best. Blanc de Blancs was the first wine we produced in 1965 and was America’s first commercially produced Chardonnay-based sparkling wine.
Bin # 803  N/V  Taittinger “La Francaise”  $34
(Champagne – France) (.375 L)
- Taittinger Brut La Française is produced from select Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes grown in the finest microclimates of the viticultural area of Champagne.
Bin # 804  N/V  Veuve Clicquot “Yellow Label”  $48
(Champagne – France) (.375 L)
- Yellow Label is a perfect example of harmony between delicacy and power. Dominated by Pinot Noir, this wine has firm structure, rounded with a touch of Point Meunier. Nearly a third of Chardonnay gives it the elegance and finesse needed for perfect balance.
Bin # 805  2006  Marenco Moscato d’Asti  $23
(Piedmont – Italy) (.375 L)
- Straw and gold in color, with an aromatic and fragrant nose. The sweet, peachy, flavors of the wine lend an exotic edge to the fruit. Great as a desert wine, even as an appetizer.
Bin # 806  2006  Coppo Passione Brachetto d'Acqui  $23
(Piedmont – Italy) (.375 L)
- Bright cherry red in color, this Brachetto has a lively, zingy tease of bubbles, with fresh aromas of raspberries and strawberries. Brachetto d'Acqui can commence a great evening as an aperitif, or even better, it is one of the most romantic pairings with chocolate at the end of the meal.
Bin # 807  2006  King Estate Pinot Gris  $20
(Oregon) (.375L)
- Founded in 1991 by the King family, King Estate is committed to producing Oregon wines ofexceptional quality using sustainable farming methods, meticulous fruit selection, impeccable. winemaking practices and judicious blending.
Bin # 808  2005  Domaine Henry Natter Sancerre  $27
(Loire - France) (.375L)
- This domaine does two things that are practically unique in the Sancerre AC: they use native rather than cultured yeast, and they ferment in old wooden foudre rather than in steel or fiberglass tanks. These are atypical wines by today's Sancerre standards, but one could argue that these natural wines enjoy true typicité—to use a good French word—that today's mass-produced Sancerres simply cannot claim.
Bin # 809  2006  Conundrum White  $25
(California) (.375L)
- After experimenting with 11 different white wine grapes, chosen were the three that we considered the key ingredients, the aromas and flavors that form the foundation of the wine: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and--for its intriguing floral/tropical character--Muscat Canelli. Then, from the "spice cabinet," small amounts of Sémillon and Viognier were added. Already, working with flavors and textures that formed a new and unprecedented combination--a conundrum, or puzzle to be teased out by the taster.
Bin # 810  2005  Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay  $22
(Sonoma - CA) (.375L)
- Big. Really Big. That's the watchword for the Chardonnay harvest of 2005. A wet winter (although relatively warm) led into a very rainy spring. In fact, rain during April and May never seemed to stop. Summer was warm, which normally might bring the vines back onto a normal timeline, but clusters were robust, delaying the march forward even more. I know everybody has it, but it’s for good reason. Not everybody has it at this price
Bin # 811  2006  Steele Carneros Pinot Noir  $23
(Sonoma - CA) (.375L)
- This wine is a blend made from the Durell and Sangiacomo Vineyards, both situated in the cool Carneros region of Sonoma County adjacent to the San Francisco/San Pablo Bay. In this region, the masking fog and cool breezes throughout most of the growing season allow for the hang time needed to develop the flavors of the Pinot Noir grapes. These grapes saw maximum hang time and the wine exhibits classic Pinot Noir weight and body.
Bin # 812  2004  Swanson Oakville Merlot  $31
(Napa - CA) (.375L)
- To know Swanson is to know merlot; conversely, to know merlot is to know Swanson. The heart and soul of our storied Oakville Cross Road vineyard, our merlot is as casual as you want it to be and as complex and delicately layered as most Oakville cabernets.
Bin # 813  2004  Havens Merlot  $33
(Napa - CA) (.375L)
- The 2003 Napa Valley Merlot is now fruity and luscious, in a sense the most classic style for Napa Valley. This wine is destined to be a crowd-pleaser, especially if that crowd is enjoying good food. It offers very full body and varietally true red fruits, yet the tannins are round and mouth filling, so the resulting wine on the palate is still balanced. It answers affirmatively that a rich wine can be complex, nuanced, and elegant.
Bin # 814  2005  Peterson Winery Zinfandel  $25
(Dry Creek Valley - CA) (.375L)
- Not your typical overwrought high alcohol fruit bomb. Fruit forward with complexity and bakers’ spice. Dare I say…a CDP of Cali Zin! “in barn we trust.”
Bin # 815  2003  Topanga Vineyards Edna Ranch Syrah  $27
(Sonoma - CA) (.375L)
- Produced in a Cote Rotie style, yet distinctively California, ripe fruit and oak are complementary. The wine presents aromas of violets with soft tannins, balanced acidity, and lots of spice.
Bin # 816  2004  St. Supery Cabernet Sauvignon  $27
(Napa - CA) (.375L)
- 100% Napa Cab with signature trimmings of cassis, currant, and oak. Remember…two half bottles is the same as a whole bottle. Save room for a second.
Bin # 817  2005  Worthy “Sophia’s Cuvee  $30
(Napa - CA) (.375L)
- Worthy is the "second" wine of Axios. 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Deep purple and quite dense and creamy with broad blueberry / blackberry flavors that caress your palate, a fruit forward, well structured wine with fine, soft tannins, lush and seductive.
